Synapse360 are delighted to announce their latest recipient of their ‘Giving Back Award’, The Halton Hornet’s under 12’s Girls Rugby Team.
Each year, members of the team here at Synapse360 are invited to nominate a local cause, organisation or community project that helps to support the local community or build community spirit within their local area, with recipients being awarded a prize of up to £1,000.
The ‘Giving Back’ scheme, which originally began on the Isle of Man so far has helped to provide vital funding for a number of projects and community groups including the Isle of Man football club- who Synapse 360 are proud sponsors of their away strip, a local bee keeping organisation on the island that helps to support the islands ecosystem and a mental health support line, which helps to provide valuable advice for those who need it.
This latest award to the girls’ rugby team sees Synapse360, who were recently awarded Dell’s highest accolade, ‘Dell Platinum Partner’ supporting their first-cause in the UK helping to provide funding which will support the team’s mental and physical wellbeing. The donation will provide training for all children at the team’s local boxing club and will also help to pay for training supplies and even a brand-new kit for the team to wear with pride.
‘Our Giving Back award scheme was created to inspire staff to make a positive change to the communities in which they live, helping to support the local community or build community spirit.’ States Synase360 Managing Director, Steve Douglas.
‘So far, the scheme has helped a number of organisations in the Isle of Man. Seeing the difference that this scheme has had within the community on the island, we are delighted to bring this initiative to the UK to continue to help local communities and initiatives that our team live in, continuing our company ethos of people first, business later.’
Chris Hall, Head Coach for The Hornet’s Under 12s Girls Rugby Team comments: ‘We are thrilled that Synapse360 have chosen to support our under 12’s girls’ team.’
‘With the cost-of-living crisis effecting everyone’s pockets extra-curricular activities are sometimes put to one side to make way for other more important things, but we find that sports like rugby are vital to young people’s physical and mental well-being.’
‘The £500 donation that Synapse360 has kindly given the team will help improve the girls’ training regime, making sure it is accessible to all and will help them look the part too – wearing their new kits with pride. On behalf of the team, we would like to say a massive thank you to all at Synapse360 for their support!’
